Night 1

Arrive into Broome and join the hotel's bus transfer to the luxurious Cable Beach Club. This afternoon you can relax and slip into 'Broome time', exploring Chinatown and Cable Beach.

Day 1 / Night 2

The adventure begins! Departing from your Broome accommodation after breakfast, we journey to Fitzroy Crossing to join a local Ranger on a fascinating guided cruise through Geikie Gorge, carved by the Fitzroy River through an ancient limestone barrier reef. Encounter wildlife such as freshwater crocodiles, birds and fish.

Day 2 / Night 3

Heading toward the Gibb River Road we stop at Tunnel Creek and wade through the cool waters of the cave by torchlight. Next is Windjana Gorge National Park to spot for freshwater crocodiles lazing on the banks of the Lennard River. Windjana Gorge is over three kilometres long with 300 metre-high walls which are part of an ancient Devonian reef system.

Day 3 / Night 4

Today we explore 'the jewel of the Gibb' - Bell Gorge. You can enjoy some birdwatching or take a refreshing dip in the in the lower pool of the gorge below the cascading waterfall. This afternoon we head to Mount Elizabeth Station, stopping for a swim at Galvan's Gorge enroute. Here, a short walk leads to a picturesque waterhole. Wandjina rock art adorns the gorge walls.

Day 4 / Night 5

Next stop is Manning Gorge for a leisurely walk and then a swim in the beautiful river and waterfall. The river is beautiful for a swim and the gorge itself is always a favourite. Back to Mt. Elizabeth again for tonight's stay.

Day 5 / Night 6

Continuing up the Gibb we visit Ellenbrae Station for a relaxing morning tea amongst their lovely gardens. Next is Bindoola Falls, before heading to Home Valley Station. Stop at Luhrmann's Lookout, named after film director Baz Luhrmann who's movie 'Australia' was primarily set in this part of the Kimberley. Relax in the shaded pool area or join an optional helicopter flight over the spectacular Cockburn Ranges.

Day 6 / Night 7

Depart Home Valley and stop for photos at the spectacular Pentecost River enroute to El Questro. Today's highlights include: Zebedee thermal springs, a series of pools cascading into each other set within sheer cliffs and local vegetation; El Questro gorge - walk to a picturesque swimming hole known as 'halfway pool' then (depending on your fitness level) on to Mackmicking Pool; Enjoy lunch at El Questro's famous Steakhouse; Swim in the creek by the Steakhouse then head up to a scenic lookout point for sundowners.

Day 7 / Night 8

This morning we will walk to the picturesque amphitheatre waterfall of Emma Gorge for a swim and morning tea. Those who don't want to hike can enjoy the shaded poolside cafe area at Emma Gorge Resort. This afternoon we continue on toward Kununurra and then enjoy sunset at Lake Argyle.

Day 8 / Night 9

This morning you will cruise Lake Argyle, stopping on an island for lunch and a swim. Spot for crocodiles, birdlife and rock wallabies. You will drive across the Ord Top Dam wall and see the Ord Hydro-Power Station before boarding the a scenic 55km boat cruise back to Kununurra. Enjoy spectacular scenery, wildlife, flora and fauna along the way, including the elusive freshwater crocodile! Enjoy a colourful East Kimberley sunset. Your coach will drop you to your Kununurra accommodation.

Day 9

Check-out of your hotel this morning and sadly bid farewell to Kununurra. Alternatively, we can book additional nights if you'd like to stay on and continue exploring locally!.
